Chapter 3 – “Or has God gone?”
Amy writes:
In February 2014 after many weeks of torrential rain there were extensive floods in the UK. The main road from our village to Reading crossed the River Kennet and the Kennet and Avon Canal and the flat green meadows on either side had disappeared under a sea of flood water. The whole landscape had changed beyond recognition.
I painted the scene and thought this expressed how it feels when an illness or a disaster strikes and your whole world suddenly changes.
