I am delighted that my friend Amy Perry was willing to read a draft of Songs for Suffering and to offer some of her artwork to accompany and illustrate it.
In some cases the process was as important as the end product, and Amy’s accompanying commentaries make fascinating reading.
Amy is an experienced amateur artist and a member of Greyfriars Church, Reading. She has previously co-produced books of artwork and poetry with Margaret Thomas: Shafts of Light (2008), The Dappled Path (2010), Easter Encounters (2012) and Timescapes (2015) (all published by Margaret Thomas).
